Thanks for visiting my page and coming over to learn a little more about me. I am a self-taught photographer based in south central Oklahoma, nestled between the towns of Sulphur and Davis. I grew up here living between two beautiful parks, the Turner Falls Park in Davis and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area (CNRA) in Sulphur (perhaps you’ve seen our quarter dollar). My interest in photography began around the age of 14 when I was inspired from traveling across the United States with my parents. I would take photos of everywhere we went and bring them back home to share. I loved people’s reactions to seeing places they had never been and then wanting to go visit these places themselves.
Growing up as a young boy in a rural area and surrounded by a hardwood forest I developed a great love for nature and the outdoors lifestyle. I’d spend all my free time roaming though the woods exploring and observing wildlife. As I grew older I found I had a talent for art. I would spend hours during school learning different media and expanding my creative mind. Fast forward a few years, I started to use what I learned painting and drawing to apply my own unique artistic touch to my photography.
Once I made my way into and through college, East Central University, I received a B.S. in Biology focusing on Wildlife Ecology. I have always been amazed by the diversity of the geology, flora and fauna across the country, my degree helped me to better understand it. While in college I often volunteered many hours helping with The Nature Conservancy and developing a good standing relationship with preserve managers. Additionally, I've spent several years as an active member with the Arbuckle Karst Conservancy where I helped study and protect the Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer and the cave/karst features associated with it. Still to this day my passion for the outdoors continues as strong now as it has ever been.
As a photographer, I strive to capture the beauty of nature I see in the world and share it the way I perceive it. I am a member The North American Nature Photographers Association, the Artists of the Arbuckle’s and Texas Photographic Society. I have been a featured artist at the Chickasaw Nation - CNRA Visitors Center, Welcome Center and the Exhibit C Gallery.

FUJI PEARL paper contains a very special component: pearly mica crystals. Based on the natural mica, they are covered with a thin layer of metal oxides, for example, titanium dioxide. Through an interplay of transparency, refraction, coating and multiple reflections, one can discern silver-white and metallic reflection effects. These lend pictures such an intense warmth and depth; they become a true sensation for the eye. HIGH GLOSS EXHIBIT MOUNT METAL PRINTS represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight. 1/8" ACRYLIC: Photographic Prints get extra depth and radiance when paired with our polished acrylic. Acrylic Prints are beautiful photo prints face-mounted to plexiglass with polished edges. Offered with a variety of ultra-modern mounting options.
